There should be an option to swipe right on the message to quote it to make replies to individual messages easier. There should be customisation options such as changing chat backgrounds and much more like the old bbm messenger app

Ah, BBM. I missed ya

BlackBerry Messenger Enterprise (or just BBMe) may not be as customisable as applications like WhatsApp, but it certainly makes for a good experience. Timed messages is a good idea if you want BBM to send a message at a particular time, although I wish it could be a set date and time.

Another thing is the fact that dark mode doesn't exist yet, and custom PINs have disappeared. Please, BlackBerry, if you can, add them to the enterprise version.

While I'm sad to see BBM go, BBMe is the exact same, but with less of the social aspect, and more of the development focused on security - which I think should be the primary focus of every chat application.

Simply the best instant messenger

This is quite simply head and shoulders above other instant messengers. After the first year, you may need to pay for a subscription (like WhatsApp originally did), but in my opinion, 40p per month (paid as a six monthly £2.39 payment) is a small price to pay for a robust, secure, feature rich software with industry level encryption. Also, BlackBerry don't track you, try to sell adverts or log your location. Remember that for free alternatives, your privacy and personal information is what you are paying with.
